By accessing the Platform or using any Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
By continuing to use the Platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not provide us with any personal information and immediately cease use of the Platform.
We operate the Platform for the purpose of connecting job seekers to companies looking to fill their roles.
INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT
18C may collect both personal and non-personal data directly from you and automatically through your use of the Services. This includes, but is not limited to:
First name, last name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and other contact information;
Billing and payment details (processed via third-party providers);
Login credentials and account activity information;

Uploaded content such as your resume, cover letter, and application materials.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
The information we collect may be shared with companies seeking to fill role(s) including
Sharing the information with 18C to assess your suitability for the role;
Processing information via our AI chatbot to match you with roles within our database including text input and voice input;
Delivering educational content and Services;
Maintaining your user account and tracking your progress;
Responding to your support inquiries;
Providing updates to keep you informed about the interview process and promote additional opportunities;
Sending promotional messages (you may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time);
Ensuring compliance with platform usage terms; and
Analyzing engagement to improve our Services.
By using the Platform you explicitly provide your consent for 18C to share your personal data with third parties for the purpose of connecting you with potential employers.
OUR USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
The Platform uses artificial intelligence (“AI”) tools to enhance the quality, efficiency, and relevance of job matching and related services. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that AI technologies may be used to analyze information, identify potential matches, and improve overall system performance.
AI tools operate under 18C’s supervision and are subject to human review. No hiring, employment, or eligibility decisions are made solely by automated means.
AI outputs depend on data and algorithmic inputs and may occasionally contain inaccuracies, omissions, or speculative (“hallucinated”) information. You are solely responsible for verifying any AI-generated information or recommendations before relying on them. 18C disclaims all liability for decisions or actions taken in reliance on AI-generated outputs.
18C uses only vetted AI vendors bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations. Candidate data is not used to train external or public AI models.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any AI-assisted feature at any time to comply with evolving legal, ethical, or technical standards.
COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
We use cookies and similar tracking tools to provide functionality and enhance your user experience. Cookies allow us to remember your login, personalize your dashboard, and collect usage analytics. 18C does not use third-party advertising cookies. You may adjust your browser settings to disable cookies, although this may affect the functionality of the platform.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND INTEGRATIONS
We partner with third-party service providers to facilitate the Platform and provide services. These services may include but are not limited to: Elevenlabs, GoDaddy, Squarespace, softr.io, Zoom, Slack, Airtable, Stripe, MailerLite, Zapier, Metaview, Dropbox Sign, and Google Workspace.
Each third-party provider maintains its own privacy policy, and 18C is not responsible for their data-handling practices. We encourage you to review their policies before providing any information.
SECURITY MEASURES
We store all Personal Data on secure, U.S.-based servers and use commercially reasonable, industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect it from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include encrypted payment gateways; encryption of data in transit and at rest; role-based access controls and confidentiality obligations for employees; secure, regularly updated software infrastructure; monitoring for suspicious activity; and multi-factor authentication where applicable.
However, no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any unauthorized access to or use of our Services that is beyond our reasonable control. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for immediately notifying us of any suspected unauthorized use of your account or security breach.
INFORMATION FROM MINORS
The Platform and its Services are intended for adults 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted promptly.
DATA RETENTION
We retain Personal Data only for as long as necessary to provide our Services; comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations; enforce our agreements; and resolve disputes. When Personal Data is no longer required for these purposes, we will securely delete, anonymize, or de-identify it in accordance with applicable laws.
